A Driving Advantage is owned and operated by Renee Eady. She is a nine-time SCCA National Champion race car driver and was the National Chief Driving Instructor of SCCA's Solo II Driving School Tour.
With her bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health and master’s in professional counseling, she understands how anxiety and fear can hold students back. Eady works with every staff member to provide confidence-building, nonjudgmental, and technically sound skill-based instruction.

We have well-trained and friendly instructors and counselors that provide driver’s education and risk reduction courses with a fun and interactive curriculum. They are also very understanding when doing comprehensive driver evaluations with those who have experienced having Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases and injuries or stroke.
A Driving Advantage is part of the scholarship program for Driver’s Education.
Our classes and training programs are headed by master-level instructors that provide resources to help you build confidence behind the wheel. They also support you as you reach your goal of getting a driver’s license. Additionally, we are certified as a third-party examiner and provide the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) road test for those that have met the requirements for testing.

Renee Eady
A Driving Advantage is owned and operated by Renee Eady. Renee is a nine-time SCCA National Champion race car driver and National Pro Solo Series Champion. She was the SCCA National Tour Chief Driving Instructor for the SOLO II Driving Schools (nationwide skills-building driving school series). She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health and a master’s degree in professional counseling and education.
She understands how anxiety and fear can hold new drivers back. She works with each and every staff member to increase confidence and competency with technically sound skill-based instruction. Outside of work, her hobbies include cycling, hiking, and gardening.

Andrea Barron
Andrea is the friendly face you meet when you walk in the door of A Driving Advantage. She is a knowledgeable member of the team, having worked in the driving school industry for 25 years. She enjoys assisting every customer in meeting their goal of obtaining a new license or reinstating one. If you are reading this, then Andrea says, “I look forward to meeting you soon.” Outside of work, her hobbies include playing with her animals and reading a good book.

David Shadix
David believes it is a privilege to work at A Driving Advantage and to have helped thousands of drivers in both defensive driving and driver’s education instruction. He considers training as an opportunity to create safe driving habits for a lifetime.
David always has and will continue to assist young drivers in their development of good driving skills. It has been his pleasure to meet some of the greatest young adults in the world and gratifying to have played a part in their training. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, traveling by RV, making new friends, and sampling great food along the way. He believes that young adults learn through driver’s education good driving habits that will last a lifetime. His goal is to make sure they understand and make those safe driving habits concrete.
Carolyn Henderson
From growing up on a farm and learning to drive as early as 12 years of age, Carolyn learned to live a long life you must be a knowledgeable, safe driver. It wasn’t unusual to hear about someone being killed in a car collision or on a motorcycle right from her own community. Many were the result of speed or impairment.
Since 2007, Carolyn has been teaching students of all ages and around the world how to drive. Hundreds upon hundreds have come through their doors. She felt that she has made it safer for new drivers and those in their community. When one gets behind the wheel of a vehicle, they have the power of life and death in their hands. At A Driving Advantage, we seek to provide training anyone can use to become safe, competent drivers. As Carolyn would often say, “Make My Day…Drive Safe.”
Sonya Arzayus
Sonya was born and raised in Colombia, South America. Growing up, she had a great desire to come to the US. She lived in New York and eventually moved to Georgia. Although it was hard work, Sonya is thankful to God for the opportunity to be here, learn from another culture, and be able to achieve my dreams.
Sonya has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and she is pursuing a master’s degree in early childhood education. She works with A Driving Advantage as a DUI/drug risk reduction instructor and has been in the field for five years.
According to Sonya, “Working as a DUI instructor has given me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people and share learning experiences that will be in my heart forever. Every class brings me the knowledge and the opportunity of realizing driving under the influence for any distance can cause many negative outcomes. By attending the risk reduction course, a person can reduce their risk and increase positive outcomes for themselves and those they love. Impairment can sneak up on you, make low-risk choices, and you will have nothing to worry about.”
As a program director, Tanya is responsible for the day-to-day operations of A Driving Advantage. She also wears many hats, including defensive driving and driver's education instructor. She has achieved a counseling specialty in anger management. She is the ASAM Level 1 group leader and has been working in the alcohol and drug field for 10 years. She attended the University of North Georgia and University of West Georgia, pursuing a degree in criminology. Outside of work, Tanya likes to read and loves good food.

Tanya Cohran
“Tisha is from Villa Rica, GA, and she has been teaching the DUI/drug risk reduction and defensive driving course for 13 years. She is a graduate of Villa Rica High School Class of 1991 and the University of North Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in English.

Tisha deVault
Ms. Parker has been working in the treatment of substance use disorders for more than 12 years. Her experience includes working in advocacy for sexual assault survivors, child and adolescent recovery programming, peer support and wellness for adults, and special populations of women with trauma experience and their dependent children.
Currently, Ms. Parker is working as the women’s program coordinator for Georgia, where she supports the 22 women’s programs in the state in areas of training, compliance, program management and development, research, grant support as well as clinical and technical assistance. As part of her private work, she also conducts individual therapy for accountability courts and is a state-certified clinical evaluator. Outside of work, she likes to travel with her family or ride her Harley!
Ms. Parker is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), a nationally certified Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), a Georgia Certified Addiction Counselor (CACII), a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES), Clinical Evaluator (CE), and a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS).
